Feeling Hot-Hot-Hot
We are full throttle in the thick of summer. Kids AND adults jumping off the docks, cabin fans blasting, a visit to Whiskey Jack for ice-cream and air conditioning, mayfly hatches coming and going just as quickly, blueberries ready for the picking, water toys getting used by all, water temps gradually climbing to upper 70's, and the cabbage weeds finally developed for more of that summer fishing bite. The weather has finally "stabilized" up here, and its been the most pleasant weather of the season. The water temps have stalled in the upper 60's to low 70's; the water level is still about a foot higher than same time last year; weeds are taking longer to emerge; seeing some small mayfly hatches in certain parts of lake system. Where the Anchor Drops
So this blog was ready to put out a couple times only to get busy helping guests, and then another round of photos would come in, so here we finally go with lots to share! Well the weather shifted- from one extreme to the other. As cold as opener week was, weeks 2-4 were that much warmer than "normal" a couple days in the high 80s.
