Hello.

I wanted to post about our experience today.  We were to meet our dear friends Troy and Jennifer (“the island people”) for dinner tonight and stay in Des Moines.  Jennifer let us know Monday that her dad, Ted Giorgetti, had passed away that morning.  We did not have the privilege of knowing Ted when he was whole but had met him a couple of times at Camp post-stroke.  Ted and his wife Evelyn spent many summers on their island (on 2nd Lake) prior to our arrival at Tall Pines Camp.  Pete and Donna, the former owners of TPC, had shared many great memories of summers with the Giorgettis.  Several of our guests have asked about Ted over the years, and I thought this would be a good forum to let them know that Ted is whole again.  Today’s service spoke of Ted’s love for Canada and fishing, and we were proud to represent part of his paradise and to be there for our friends.  Tight lines, Ted.
