Kids and Families Corner
Tall Pines Camp is the perfect place for a family fishing vacation! In July and August we offer activities to help entertain you on and off the water. We even offer major discounts to children in July and August because we believe instilling the love of the Canadian outdoors at a young age has lifelong benefits and is an investment for the future.
Water Activities

Peddleboats, kayaks, canoes, and a paddleboard are fun and complementary- just gotta be supervised by your parents.
Kids get hooked on fishing fast

Catch all kinds of species of fish from perch, smallmouth, to walleye and northern pike. Kids fish on boats as well as right off the docks.
Explore the Shore

We have a fun shoreline at camp to explore and find turtles and snails and cool rocks and play in the sand. And there's lots of islands on the lake to explore for some great adventures.
Camp Games

We have a basketball hoop, bean bags, frisbee, football, and occasionally camp wiffleball games. There's also scavenger hunts and Bingo on the Boat, and make a craft on a rain day. And ditch the device and grab a board game, puzzle, book, or cards for some cabin fun.
Swimming

Though our water may be a little cold, that doesn't stop kids from jumping off our docks as we have a ladder at the end. Some parents bringing their boat also take the kids tubing!
Campfires

Many evenings, providing there is no fire ban, campfires are the perfect way to wind down. Grab a stick and make your own s'mores as you take in a sunset.
