Two Days In A Row…Are You Kidding?

Writer's picture: BridgetBridget

I realized I’d better get caught up so we can be ready for bear hunter shots! I have a few more trail cam photos, then we’ll finish up with Jerry and Mike’s photos from a few weeks ago.

We’re seeing more unique pics from the trail cams! I don’t think I’d ever seen a buzzard at one of our baits before:

???????????????????????????????????????????????

I don’t recall ever seeing a bear “prairie dog” before:

???????????????????????????????????????????????

I know I’ve not had an adult bear doing this before!

???????????????????????????????????????????????

Here’s a lazy bear, followed by a peek-a-boo-bear:

This is a big male (you shouldn’t need to ask how I know it’s a male):

We see different types of fur on the bears. This one has a very pretty soft (as opposed to rough) coat:

We’ve seen more than our share of these this season (be careful next week, hunters):

If we get some more original photos this week, I’ll share them (promise)!

Jerry and Mike were here a few weeks ago. It was a week of tougher fishing–too bright, warm, nice. However, they did OK for first-timers on Wabaskang! Mike added a nice walleye to our Conservation Awards page. They rented both of our 40-hp upgrades,

armed themselves with maps,

and went fishing:

This is NOT what we mean by eaters;

this is:

I’m not sure if this qualifies as a fishing pic:

Gruper fixed ’em up in no time (he’s had practice this year):

They enjoyed the scenery. Check out this incredibly blue day:

The falls:

Reflections, anyone?

???????????????????????????????

I’ll close with a nice sunset from their camera:

Time to get my chores done so I can go picking with Debbie this afternoon!!!!
