While I transitioned into life back in the states, Tall Pines guests were crushing it on the Wabaskang this week. Water temps are dropping- now between 66-68 degrees. The weather has been comfortable- hovering around 70ish. The walleye were biting solid this week! Cabins 3 and 5 did really well with walleye and perch. The signs of a fall bite are there, so Ryan is getting pumped! Colton and Andrea, Tall Pines veterans were nailing over 30 walleye a day consistently. Chr

What a first week! Lots to share… First, many of you are curious about the current water levels. Those that were here last year will be pleased to hear that the levels have risen quite a bit since last summer’s near record lows. Ryan was by the outside office when he spotted this lynx. Ryan could tell it wanted to come and get on land by the boat launch but it ended up falling through the ice and had to circle way around to get to shore.
